I need help with choosing shocks!!!

Whats up guys, this is my first post and I straight up love my new 95 3.4 T100. It's the extended cab SR5.
The truck has 171,000 miles and runs strong but needs power steering pump replaced. The shock are stock and mush.
I need to beef up my suspension to put about 2000lbs in the bed. I was looking at add a leaf but I'm too poor. So I went with Hellwig helper springs, hopefully that will do the trick and I can install myself.
Now I need replacement shocks for the front and rear. I want them to be able to handle a big load but also drive nice and responsive while unloaded. I don't want the rear to be bouncing down the bumpy roads.
Do you guys have any suggestions? Rancho 5000, Rancho 9000 adjustable seem nice but are $100 each! dang
They used to make 4-5 way adjustable ones, maybe I could find a old yet new set of those. I"m not set on any pair so some suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank. D

cant go wrong with bilstiens. The hellwigs are awsome. Ive run them on my last two tacomas and they are absolutely the best money i have spent on the truck. Which load level did you get? are they the big ones that run overtop of the whole leaf spring with 4 u-bolts or the shorter ones with only two ubolts. Either way they will help for sure.

I just put Monroe Gas matics on my truck they are right below the Sensa-Tracs. They so far have road well and are a huge improvement over the worn out stock shocks. I got them from sears for $16.75 a shock on a half price sale.

i have put Rancho RS5000's on my T100, but as to tell ya how they ride? cant tell ya honestly, as this is my first vehichle, and when i got it, had stock shocks on it, they were killed....to the point, i replaced them once the rear onces broke in half, lol

i can say the rancho's ride alot better than the busted stock ones, but thats nothin you couldnt have guessed, lol
