jba makes headers for the truck. depending on the year of your truck, whether or not its OBD1 or 2. a high flow cat doesnt do much for OBD2 systems. waste of money. a 2.5 cat back is probably teh best you can do, but like on my 98 the piping is already close to 2.5". might just want to get that flowmaster welded on to the stock piping.
might also want to look into a lower restriction intake. oh yeah with the flowmaster 50 series delta flow, k&n drop in with air box opened up, 4:56 gears and 31's i average 18mpg. i also have the 3.4 with 150k miles |

just go with a cat-back. If you have a 3.4L, the header is way too expensive, the installation is just too difficult, and it doesn't produce much results on NA engines. I'm not sure, but it seems that folks have had good power gains from headers on the 3.slow. Am I right?

I have the 3.0 in my truck and I went with a cat back system of the custom variety. All my parts where supplied by Cootes. I love my new exhaust. Cat, Magnaflow, and 2.25" pipe. I think that it sounds really good and I'm happy with the price. I had a friend of mine put it on for me for my birthday. Free is the best.
