My 3.4 engine in my little T100 just doesn't seem to have enough power (It makes a simple trip on the freeway a living hell) unlike my dads 2001 Tundra with the V8; is there any way I could possibly get a V8 tundra engine and swap it with my V6?

for that kind of $$$, just install a supercharger and the URD kits. Its not worth the hassle to swap in a v8 imho

Do the deckplate mod or remove the intake elbow off the the airbox and you will notice a nice power increase. I have that done plus the ISR removal and I never have any problems getting up to speed on the highway.
What tires do you have on it? If you are running larger than stock tires will kill your power. Anyways just a few things to think about.
