I have a 1995 t100 2 wheel dr. I installed new emergency cables a year ago. Went to get it New york state inspected and said the e-brake won't hold the truck. Took it home took off the rear drums ready to replace and all looks pretty good. I think I replaced them about 2 years ago.

Everything seems to move ok. I tightened up the star adjustment until a bit of drag on theorems. then put everything back. Adjusted the E-brake cable and when I tighten it up all the way to get the e brake to hold the truck there is then a drag on the rear brakes.

What can I do?
