'93 t100 no crank

Trying to pin down this problem. I have a 93 t100 sr5 that decided not to start on me when I tried to head home from work. It's had the same issue a few times before but only on the first crank of the key. It always started easily on the second try. When it did fail it would just click once when I rolled the key into the start stage. Now it won't even click once for me. I've tested the started and it's good to go. theres power getting to the starter (or so the sparks indicate when I bridged ::cough cough: Any ideas would be awesome as my truck is still sitting in our parking garage at work =)

Auto or manual transmission? I'm thinking it's the starter contacts...you can rebuild the starter yerself fer pretty cheap.

If it's an automatic transmission, have you tried starting it in neutral?

How about your alt. and battery? Just because it sparks doesn't mean its the proper amount of energy. Have a multi meter? Where/how did you test it?

I'd second the starter contacts. call the local toyota dealers for parts it should be like $8. The intial no start is a dead giveaway for the contacts.
