Auto or manual transmission? I'm thinking it's the starter contacts...you can rebuild the starter yerself fer pretty cheap.

How about your alt. and battery? Just because it sparks doesn't mean its the proper amount of energy. Have a multi meter? Where/how did you test it?

I'd second the starter contacts. call the local toyota dealers for parts it should be like $8. The intial no start is a dead giveaway for the contacts.
