3400 Oil Pump Repacement
Hi All!
I am purchasing one of our old work trucks. It is a 97 T-100 with a 3400 v6 2wd ext cab. It has 200k miles but the oil pump is weak. The pressure has dropped recently and it started to tick so he took in out of service. He had it checked out and was told the oil pump needs to be replaced. Is there any information on how to replace this oil pump? It looks as if the entire front end of the motor has to come apart. Any information on replacement that you all can come up with for me would be great. Thanks! Last edited by OHRacer : 04-13-2008 at 07:26 PM. |
