Spark Plugs,Dual electrode or single, 3.4
My bro hooked me up with some NGK Irdium Spark plugs at dealer price of only $5 each instead of $12. But they are only single elctrode. Should I use them or go get double electrode plugs?

I would get the stock Denso Dual electrodes for 2$/each

Agree with Localmotion... unless you have a supercharger etc. you don't need to upgrade to those Iridium plugs. Just stay with the Denso/NGK dual electrode plugs and OEM plug wires and you're good to go.

Cool. So I should return the plugs, get denso OE, And possibly upgrade my wires. I'm at 138,000 miles and I'm sure they are the stock wires.

i replaced my stock wires at 132k and was still running great and pretty sure the plugs had 25k or more on them i figured it was time for a basic tuneup

If you've moded the engine i.e. cams, added a supercharger or moded other parts in the induction system, increased compression ratio or upgraded other parts of the ignition system i.e. blaster coil etc. then it makes sense to upgrade the wires if not.....stock is fine! Same for the plugs, if your running a stock motor...its a total waste of money to run anything more than stock!

I just did the intake and deckplate mod. Now I think I started a chain reaction. And to think my girlfriend thinks I have an expensive hobby now. Who know's what's next!

She doesn't even like the $Runner much. She won't even notice, maybe. BTW It's funny that $ and 4 are the same button.
