Please state your thread topic! Ambigious thread titles will be deleted w/o notice
Guys,
We'd like to reiterate once again about stating your specific topic in the thread title field. Even a topic that incorporates a single word like "engine" or "transmission" will qualify. Please note that this rule only applies to tech-related and classified sales threads. Off-topic threads are exempt from this rule.
What won't qualify are thread titles like these below. This is just a small sample of the thread titles we deleted in October:
"two questions" - 10/20/05
"simple question"- 10/20/05
"desperately seeking satisfaction" - 10/20/05
"4runner questions" - 10/21/05
"3rd gen problems" - 10/24/05
"a couple quick questions" - 10/24/05
"quick easy question"- 10/25/05
"third gen noob question" - 10/26/05
Did I forget anything?? - 10-27-05
"quick and simple n00b question" - 10/26/05
New to Toyota - 10/29/05
Toyota pros lets get some advice. - 10/29/05
Problem Almost Solved.. Still need help - 10/29/05
Need some help? - 10/29/05
"strange vehicle problems " - 10/30/05
bad idea??? - 10/30/-5
Mysterious Problems - 10-31
Most, if not all of these topics above actually stated the question in the first line of the body text field. Thus, just put that question in the thread title field. Yes, its just that simple
Why do we do this? Imagine if you searched and came up with thread titles like these. You wouldn't know what the heck these threads were about unless you clicked into each and every thread---a very time consuming, frustrating experience.
Thanks for your cooperation,
