someone else tried them...

http://www.yotatech.com/f105/easiest...ro-kit-186175/

I tried to get pics of the pattern with cutoff line to no avail. The kit gives you the projector, and even though it says bi-xenon kit, it doesn't come with the HID ballasts for the super bright lights. My wife's pilot has projector lights with just a halogen bulb, still puts a really good pattern on the road. I'm sure it would still be a nice upgrade from what most of us are used to!!

Get em and let us know how easy it is to throw ballasts and true hid in it!!

well, looking at the pics in the auction it sure looks like there are ballasts, bulbs, etc in it. but, even if its ONLY the projectors...i think for the price it is still worth it vs. paying around $200 for acura ones and then cutting holes in the back of your headlights and fiddling with screws then going to home depot to look for and make your own shrouds...........good to hear they have a crisp cut off and nice pattern. i think i will buy them (and ofcourse report back the results)..............after my lift.

I like the look of those... Do you have to cut the housing?

So I assume you have to remove the lens from your headlight, remove the stock reflector/shield, insert this projector, which attaches through the existing opening for the bulb in the headlight, reseal and you're done.

I'm sure it's not as good as a Honda or Nissan projector, but better than HID in a halogen housing. I might give it a shot.

Another thread on it:

after watching that element slide show it does look like the seller hiking1978 does give you the ballasts and all with that kit. Pretty sweet deal.

yes midget. and combined those with a pair of Kragen 7" hid off road lights and you should be golden for under $500 for a sweet set up.

Hey guys, I bought these and I love them. I just posted some cutoff pics on the thread that Kiyobrown linked. The pics are some I found from a different forum of guys trying these out. I havnt had luck with my phones camera so I am gonna have to borrow one to get some of my own pics. Most of the kits dont come with ballasts, if they dont say it then they probably arent included. I looked back on ebay the other day and they are starting to sell some kits with ballasts. The kits are also getting way cheaper than what I paid.

Installed these today. Very impressed with the results.

One issue, though. I was bummed that the controller was so complex; I had zero intent of using the frooty eyes, but the bi-xenon relay is tied into the controller box and I couldn't figure out how to integrate into my set-up. There was no way I would trust that piece of junk running the ballast. Does anyone know how too rig a bi-xenon solenoid with just the high beam + and a ground?

I was also leary of the 6000K bulbs, but they're not as blue as I thought.

Other than that, the projector is pretty damn good, I was able to adjust the lights to get a great pattern and it seems like the assembly will stay rock solid in the headlight housing (lock washer and i used blue loctite). The sealant they provide was the same color as what my ebay 99+ lights had, so no qualms about using it to reseal the lights.

You mind posting up pics of the cutoff line? I would like to see what the 6000k looks like in action.
