Common cause is an O2 sensor wire that has fallen against the hot exhaust causing the insulation to melt and the wires inside to short.

I have the same problem. Just started in the last week or so. Was told by the dealer it could also be the EFI relay or circuit opening relay under dash. Mine blows fuse when I turn key to start. Thought it might be the fuel pump, but removed the circuit opening relay to test it, and problem is still there. Fuse went last week when wife was driving down the road. All relays seem to test ok. 95 x-cab 4x V6 auto. Any thoughts?

Make sure that your ground wire from the bat to the engine is first rate and check the ground wire for the efi circuits( located on the passenger side of the motor just below the aluminum air intake, about in the middle,a large wire bolted on). Good luck!

Did you ever get that fuse blowing situation fix. I'm having the same problem with the EFI fuse. Took mine to the shop, was there for a week. Problem was not found.

Did you get your fuse problem fixed, having same issue with a 1995 corolla, not o2 sensor, changed the ignition switch, bit the fuse keeps blowing as soon as the key is turned to acc, before the crank up

You absolutely sure the EFI fuse blows when you turn switch to ACC? Please see signature.

what did I not do! The tests you mentioned, I did plus more. Mine happened to be the fuel pump in the tank. Try taking yours out to test. You don’t have much choice but to be patient with the efi.
