97runner elocker wiring

installing elocker in my 97runner! looking for the best way to wire it! I know it came factory but not in mine and the harness is not there. BOO HOO! I guess i was looking for the easy way in! Anybody Anyone know where i can find the schematic for the elocker in a 97 runner?

ORS and Inchworm both sell harness for the elocker.

Pirate4x4 might have the wiring diagram for a taco ... Search for "locker wiring" and you should find some ways

Some good info here:http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/electric_locker/ and here: http://67.122.16.97/carterman/4runner/mods/locker/ I'm using the schematic in the second link (I'm using a SPDT toggle switch) and have had zero problems.........not counting having the motor contact mechanism fill up with water. Make sure the little vent tube is hooked up and routed up high enough, doh!-----------Hans

yeah but you need a red star to search pirate...it is worth it though

but I think apalmer's link to sonoran steel is your best bet...

Mkay!

Lucky for me i was able to scavenge the harness that plugs into the elocker itself when i scored the diff. WOOHOO! TOO BAD my runner was not prewired for locker just the ABS. I recieved better info from yotatech than the schmucks at the dealer!
