should be here in a couple of weeks...

I'll post pics and a review, seems like a good alternative to the hayden setup.

and I can use my adruino set up along with it for testing

the druino is pretty much set up.. just lazy and thought some one else could use this in the future...

I might use this one to power fan connected to an intercooler connected to the clothes dryer... and its $26!!!

hehe... it's to save money, but first you need an intercooler

they also make the controller in the fahrenheit variety:

neat. ever thought about a graphic lcd? it's not much different than that 2x16, just a few more lines of code.

i made a functioning tach for an off-road buggy once. i just need to get a better design for the sensor

(oh, and all the gauges were made by me)

I thought about using a graphic LCD but I thought I would start with this and then try out graphics later...

Nice work on the guages.. are you powering a servo? for the RPM?

yup. it was fun making the gauges. the one with the speedo, tach, f-n-r, and lcd is heavy... 1/4-20 hardware . i forgot to specify diameter, as opposed to radius. whoops.

i don't have any of the gauges anymore (something about "school property"), but given the time and materials, i could easily make them again.

yeah, but i didn't stay in pa long enough to see the final car. i was the only one who knew how to do that sort of thing, so it's doubtful that anyone else continued the work. though, i wouldn't mind making a buggy of my own

LCE/LED graphic displays? whaT are we talking about a KITT dash?
Toyota had an LCD binnacle avail. on SR5s from 84-88 or so... no one liked them lol...

Outsane contact them if they have'nt sent it out yet you may be able to change to the Farenheit controller or just arrange to exchange it...
