According to the Fujitsu manual, there should be a ignition controlled door lock feature, and it should be enabled as the default setting. However on my new 05 RAV4 it was not enabled. I tried to enable it by following the instructions on page 10 of the manual. I could not activate the feature, but somehow managed to turn on the piezo chirp instead. I then returned the car to the dealer, and they tried to enable it without success, then called Fujitsu, who told them the feature was not available for that car. (Even though it was listed in the manual. Now here is my question: Does anybody have a 2005 RAV4 where this feature works ? Do we maybe have a defective system ? Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
