Excalibur alarm not working correctly
My 1994 4Runner has an Excalibur alarm. The remote that I carry, sometimes does not lock or unlock the doors. The led blinks when remote is pressed or does not blink when pressed. The remote works when is wants to. I have installed a new battery, but no change in operation.
Anyone know of where to start troubleshooting this problem? Can I remove the alarm and just use the key? How do I remove the alarm? I don't need the alarm, it just loud at the wrong time of day. But I rather correct the problem. Thanks for any assistance ... Happy New Year to all |
