96 4 Runner - with vip toyota alarm/headlight issues!
The headlights on my 96 4 runner turn on when the car is off and the headlights are off. I am thinking it has something to do with the alarm
and need to know how to disarm it.....but I welcome other solutions if someone has had this problem. At one time back in 98 or so a salesman showed me how to disable it simply in the car and I cant remember and the dealer cant remember either? Thanks in advance |

does it have the option on the rearview for delayed lamps? if so turn that off, i am unsure if yotas do it by on my exploder there is a switch on the self dimming rearview that says lamp delay or something along htose lines. if you turn it on the lights will stay lit for a short period of time after you exit the vehicle so you can see where you are going. try looking into that
