2003 Toyota Tacoma Factory Alarm

I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma SR5 PreRunner with a factory installed keyless entry alarm system... It has a lock and unlock buttons on the front and a red panic button on the back of the remote.... I want to ACTIVATE the beep sound when I lock and unlock the truck...
How do I do this without taking it to the dealership and having them charge me for doing it??? (plus the closest toyota dealership is sort of a drive from my house and I want to make this as painless as possible)...

I had a Mitsubishi before this and by pressing and holding certain buttons on the remote, I could activate and deactivate the horn chirps and lights flashing and I was wondering if Toyota is the same way... There is NOTHING in the user manual on how to do this... that is why I'm here...
Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks

I will check it out in the morning in the daylight.... but just to clarify... the keyless entry alarm system IS WORKING... the lights flash and the doors lock and unlock with the remote and the lights flash... but I would like to turn on the "beep" sound and right now it is OFF....
Thanks for your help!

Let me clarify as well, One day I was reading on line, Saw a post where someone wanted to make the beep go away, So me being curious go to my dads 99 and unplug that plug from the thing, and viaola, no beep; Although the lights and locks still work, just no beep.

So, like I said that plug is probably just unplugged and dangling in the engine bay...

EDIT: All that box is is the buzzer, IE :beep, Box for the alarm, the rest of the alarm electronics are elsewhere in the truck that idk..

looked for plug

I looked for the plug and could not find anything on the left (passenger) side of the engine that was Unplugged... I did, however, find a plug that wasn't plugged into anything, but I couldn't find any other lose wire or anything to plug it into... I took a picture of it... I hope it works...

close up of plug...

It would only let me insert one photo at a time, so here is a closeup of the plug.... let me know if this is of any importance... I'm just pointing out the only lose plug that i see in the engine...
