Wackylube, Just Say No

Former lurker, first post.

I went to Wackylube a few weeks ago and paid the price. What the hell was I thinking? Anyway, I wrote a little piece and included some photos of today's subzero adventures. Thought I'd share for those of you who might be considering the Jiffy Lubes, Quicklubes, Grease Monkeys of the world...

Here's a link (with photos): http://dmtop.blogspot.com/2006/12/wacky-lube.html

Enjoy.
-Opie

by the way, it's a 99 4Runner.

That really sucks. The only thing I goto KwikKar for is a smog, and I watch them like a Bear breathing down their neck! Sorry to hear that, My Brother lives near Colorado Springs, and works for Walmart right now while he's in school and he just has them do it.

I'm in Martin Acres, just around the corner from you. But we're heading off on a 5 week trip beginning Thursday and, as you can imagine, the next few days are packed with various errands and activities.

I know it's a ways off, but do you want to get together in mid January? Maybe grab a beer at the Southern Sun? You can reach me at 303.746.6896.

I'm always down for beer. As a word of caution, try spelling out a few of the numbers in your phone number. I've heard of, though never actually seen, some spammer types getting a hold of the number via online communication, and then you get on the "list". Just something i try to do.

Oh, and the Firestone on 30th and Iris are also a bunch of crooks. They do alignments though, so watch out.

I change my own oil in both my trucks, my wife's CRV goes to the dealer because for the life of me, I cannot find the darn filter.
