I've heard its a good brand but as far as i'm concerned theres only 2 real types of oil. thats Synthetic and Conventional. Doesn't matter the brand name or nothing.....

IMHO, Royal Purple is overpriced - not really any better than any other synthetic, and much more expensive. NOTE: Do NOT use the extended oil change intervals until verified by a used engine oil analysis!

Ive used the cheapest oil on the shelf ever since I've been driving. (~14 years ago) and NEVER had any engine problems. Had an Accord with 345k on it, sold it to someone who wrecked it, but it ran great.
Go ahead and buy that expensive stuff if it makes you feel better. I wont.

i buy whats on sale. last year canadian tire had quaker state on sale for $8 a gallon or soemthing, it was cheap. so i bought 3 boxes (12 gallons) for my self and 1 box for my dad.
its just run out now, and i havnt found any thing on sale yet. |
