I wired this relatively cheap mod recently... I mounted these super bright LED lights from Amazon... They are pretty low draw , about 4 amps , compared to my big KC lites...



The thing is , they are not street legal because they are blindingly bright . My main use would be off road , but I drive on many mountain highways where I could go miles without seeing another car , so I wanted to use them on highway but be able to quickly shut them off when I saw approaching headlights ... So I wired up this little foot stomp switch ...





A quick tap on the foot switch and the lights are killed...

All total the whole mod was about $70 ... and it really adds a bunch of light up front .

I added the same lights off a bracket by my door mirrors, and left the drivers side snug so I could rotate it, they are great lights

I hear ya , I got four of 'em now and might add some frame lights soon , they are terrific .

I used a broken deluxe gauge housing and made a nice stereo compartment. I didn't wanna cut up my bezel. Did they make a radio delete plate for these? I've searching for something that may fit.

This one of the better things I have done for how easy and cheap it was. I added some stick on LED strip lights under the hood. I just ordered the strip lights for about 10$ off Amazon and a pin switch for about 6$. It amazes me how bright these actually are. Nice not to have to hold a flash light in my mouth while I work on things. Also pretty sweet to have it turn on and off when I open the hood. Almost like it was factory!

They aren't exactly bolted in yet. But I got a pair of SRT4 seats for free, They almost bolt up too. May be good info for you guys.

Only cost me $30 for the hardware for these roof rack mounts (locks were the most expensive part)



And only $5 for the velcro for the fire extinguisher. It's super strong too! This thing isn't going anywhere


And it cost me probably $15 for the steel for the spare mount I welded up. I already had extra hardware at home (yes, the welds are ugly, but they're damn functional! I'm new to this)
And I have since added another bolt, half way up through the plastic.
And most of the weight of the tire is resting on a 2x4

I wanted to order some q-form kick panels for my component speakers but the price is too high for me so, then i thought about learning how to do them out of fiberglass but then i live in a apartment complex which means no garage and i'm not allowed to do any work on my truck besides replacing the battery or a flat tire. So i had the idea of using an extra set of kick panels laying around and this is what i ended up with.

I haven't gotten to use my quick fold-down that Chef sent me for my 4' Firestik because if I were to fold it down, it would just swing everywhere. So today, I finally fabbed a little antenna holder that attaches to one of the bedliner screws to keep the antenna in place while it's folded down. No more scrapping the top of the parking garage at school. These are pre-paint pics.




It's bent so I can still open my tool box without interference.


Price: Free (even the paint). I had the steel laying around behind our workbench in the garage. Thoughts? Good idea? Stupid? Should I just remove the antenna when necessary?

EDIT: I took 4 pics, I might as well use them. Here's another one!

I have not seen this on here and just did it to mine. I got this idea from 4Crawler to help improve the reverse tail lights. I painted my tail light separator from factory black to silver.
