Have an 89 toyota pickup, 4x4 5 speed. Recently my truck started to get an extremely high idle over 2 grand at cold start then would began pulsating just at 2225. It would take a while before the motor warmed up and eventually the pulsating would stop but then had extreme low idle. I went ahead and put a new tps seņor on and adjusted that and still same issue. I did notice though my temp gauge has been all over the place. Maybe a temp seņor went bad making the computer to give more fuel? I've checked for vacuum leaks and could find any so dont believe thats the cause of pulsating idle. Im just lost because of the variety in sensors that could cause many of situation.
