I suggest at you carry two flashlights, "two is one, one is none" And you already listed the headlamp now that I looked again. There's nothing worse than having to do roadside repairs at night, and try to hold a flashlight with your neck. I dunno if you said, but of course, plenty of batteries for everything that needs them.

I also think you should have a fixed blade utility/fighting knife.

I would have some sort of firearm in the car. Carrying it, you don't have to do, but there's no reason not to at least have it with you.

Also, any spare parts you have room to carry. The most important at least.

I'm just going to make this a monster long list, and then decide later what to actually take and not to take.....this is not a true representation of what I'm taking....I can only fit so much in a standard cab Tacoma The ideas are great guys, keep'm coming.

Here is a pic of the sleeper in my bed. This is and older shot, about 2 years ago, the topper has since been insulated and lined with exterior carpet.....also gone are the silly clamps holding the topper down. I just self-tapped it directly to the bedrails.....just to give you an idea. This pic was taken during the warmer months when I was climbing at the New River Gorge in West Virginia.

12v air compresser or that patch/plug kit you have wont do you much good...

I also dont see tire chains on your list...

Rain-X for the windshield

I would get a canopy and make a sleeping platform.... I wouldnt want to live in a tent on ski slopes all winter. You can probally find a 12v heating pad or rods to keep the canopy warm. Which I would reccommend a optima yellow top, or spare battery for.

Look into rechaggable batteris with a 12v charger... Maha is the best, get there 2700ma AA, and 900ms AAA's, and the MH-C401FS intelligent charger linky

If you dont have a CB i would get one. From all my winter travels around the NW I have learned that the truckers will tell you where it gets slick, where the backups are...etc.. and get one with weather channels..

I added a few things to my last post.. then also remeberd this one.. keep some windshield washer fluid (I reccommend the orage rain-x brand for winter BEST STUFF) in your bed, in case you door locks freeze up... you can pour it over them to thaw... happens when its raining low and cold up hi

Don't forget a real map and compass with a bit of knowledge on how to use them, batteries and electronics don't mix well with rain and sometimes fail when you need them, also extra coffey several locals will sometimes let you in on their secret places over a warm cup-o-joe.

triple A card or same as towing card in case you need a tow, costs a lot less than paying the tow company out of pocket.
bottle of brake fluid,
permetex sealent.
can of PB blaster oil.
10 flares and the snap glow sticks the flares will also come in hand if you need to start a camp fire when its wet out.
bear mace_people mace
assorted sizes of hose for fuel and brake for a quick fix.
fire extinguisher.
and at least 2 gallons of water.
had buddy a few years ago 4runner caught fire got the fire out he dumped his gallon of gaderade on the fire.
rice is cheap and 2lbs is alot i think one cup dry comes to 3 cooked
a black 8x8 or 10x10 tarp and bungies
one of those portable battry jumpers would not be a bad idea.
