Minor, Minor Teardown

I read a few past threads on valve adjustments on here, and I've talked to the tech who mainly does the work on my truck who doesn't think that a valve adjustment is worth the effort. But from the responses I saw in previous threads, it appears as though a valve adjustment is worth doing if you are doing the timing belt at the same time. At that time it might also be worth it since the plenum is off to give it a good solid cleaning as well.

So just out of curiousity, to educate myself a bit more, what are some things that should be done in this very very very minor tear down since the timing belt will be done, the plenum off, etc. ?

1) Timing belt
2) Adjust valves perhaps?
3) Clean the ลลลล out of the plenum

Anymore cleaning or things you think are worty looking at or replacing that could be on their way out with my engine with 180,000 miles on it? Water pump should be good, thermostat should be good too...I'm probably about 10,000 miles away but you can never be too vigilent I guess....and that could be as early as the Spring the way I see it!
