Engine Swap
Probably going to buy a 7MGTE... with my tax refund. If that doesn't work out, I'll probably go with a 5vze... But I'd love the inline 6...I'll let you guys know how it goes... Anyone up for helping at all?

for a 3.0 truck the 5VZ-FE will be a much easier swap -- it bolts to your engine mounts and will work with your transmission. the supra engine on the other hand will directly bolt to the 4 cylinder mounts and transmission(with proper bellhousing).

Eh, I'm not too concerned about what I'd have to modify to put in a 7mgte. I'm also thinking about just saving up and getting a 2jzgte. I'm gonna save up, buy the engine. Then gather all the parts necessary for the swap over a period of time. Then when I have everything, I'll start to pull my motor out. I'm pretty set on either a 7mgte or a 2jzgte. I want the extra horses. I have big plans for the engine swap. Hey Tofer, my wife and I are thinking about moving to Washington to get away from Kahleeforneea and John Kimble (Da GAHVUHNAYTUH).
