Engine advice. Swap or rebuild? Thats the question.
So I have a very tired 84 4runner with 240 thousand miles and I need to get her rebuilt or swap in a new engine. I have a little bit of money to spend and I want to get the most bang for my buck. I was looking at some of the performance engines from lc engineering. Anybody have a good idea of what I should do?

Maybe you should define a little bit of money in real numbers.
It seems to Congress a little bit of money is a a 1 and 9 zeros these days.
If your looking for performance go with a 3.4
It all comes down to your budget the work you can do yourself and what you really want out of the engine.

I've got about 5 grand saved so far. I really like the 22r and want to keep a 4 banger in her. I don't know if I should have an engine built up or just get a new one from somewhere.
