Maybe you should define a little bit of money in real numbers.
It seems to Congress a little bit of money is a a 1 and 9 zeros these days. If your looking for performance go with a 3.4 It all comes down to your budget the work you can do yourself and what you really want out of the engine.

3rz or the 5vz, depends on what you want or need a 4 banger or a six cyl.

I've got about 5 grand saved so far. I really like the 22r and want to keep a 4 banger in her. I don't know if I should have an engine built up or just get a new one from somewhere.

yeah 3rz all day imo. fuel injection, more power STOCK than youll ever get out of a 22re.
