Do I need an alignment after tire change?

Did a search, didn't find a lot. I just changed tire size from 265/70/16 to 265/75/16. Is that tiny difference in tire size enough to NEED an alignment? Thanks, and the truck rides straight, no pulling to one side or the other.

Thanks for your response man!! I tend to agree with your assessment due to such a minor change!! Any other opinions? Of course the tire shop says that I need one, but it still makes no sense to me. I changed nothing suspension wise. Just the tires.

The tire place just wanted to make more $$$. But anytime you mess with the geometry of the suspension, like adding a suspension lift, you will definitely need an alignment done.

Unless your old tires were wearing funny or your truck is pulling or something, there should be no need to get an alignment.

exactly, or you notice your new tires are wearing funny.
