Can I just put Rust Bullet over rust converter..

instead of buying all the POR-15 prep stuff?

I don't really like the idea of putting Rust Bullet over something that is reasonably rusty. I'd like to soak it down with some rust converter first, and then coat for good measure. From what I can tell, that is what the "Metal Ready" does.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

POR-15 is some extra terrestial rust converter, it bonds to the clean metal and is pretty much the way to go!!!
