Smile badge removal tip and plasti dip on black 4runner

Hey everyone. I did search this and didn't see that anyone had the same answer as me. I just finished painting my badges tonight on my 98 limited 4runner and installing them back on. I painted them with the spray plasti-dip (black) which i think looks really nice because my 4runner is gloss black and the plasti -dip has a nice dull texture. I was a little skeptical about how the colors would work together at first though but it looks awesome. My tip is when you heat up the badges and are about to use fishing string or floss to get underneath the adhesive to separate, stop and use kite string. yes the string you use to fly kites. The floss and fishing line must have broke at least a million times for me. Although you could use a thicker fishing line, if you don't have it kite string is a great alternative that i found out by trial and error. Just thought i'd try to help everyone out with the black on black decision and removal tips.
