ATF - Is Dexron III OK when the manual calls for Dexron II?

1994 Pickup, the Haynes manual states to use Dexron II. I happen to have a bottle of Dexron III in the garage; is that OK to use or do I need to go hunt down a bottle of Dexron II? Thanks.

Nevermind, a little research says it's perfectly OK.
