"Toyota has received reports of 11 accidents and six injuries"

Wow...11 reports to issue a recall?

"Toyota said the recall was related to a problem involving possible excessive wear to a front suspension lower ball joint"

There already is a recall that replaces the lower ball joints. I don't understand.

toyota has done "recalls" or "campaigns" for less than that, they are very pro-active when it comes to safety issues or any issue for that matter
