Hey Guys, im new to the forum and relatively new to the offroad truck scene. I race motocross and build race bikes on the side, so im good enough with mechanics.

I started this thread hoping you guys could shed some knowledge on me asw far as what i should do in order to get my 1983 first gen 4x4 ready to tackle the mountains. Ill be in snow ALOT and i just need the best bang for my buck, as i am a college student. The truck is in good shape, straight body and frame, and the 2L diesel that was swapped into it is in good running condition.

I need suggestions (or lists) on what i need to put into this thing to ready it up. Thanks, Ezra
