2005 Toyota Tacoma Vibration
I know there's many threads on here about vibration, but none of them exactly match mines description. I have a 2005 Tacoma 4x4 and it violently vibrates when i reach speeds at 65+ MPH. That's the only time it will do it. When I slow down, it goes away, but comes back as soon as I speed up. The exact description I can give for an example of how it feels is like when you're running on the warning strips on the side of the road. The same exact loudness, and feel. I can feel it mainly at my feet and in my seat. I can also feel it in the steering wheel but it's not horrible and it does not effect my driving. We've looked at the carrier bearing and it appears to be loose (some say it's supposed to have slack) and we've checked u-joints but haven't examined them very good. They seem tight and have been greased. I haven't taken it to a dealer yet for them to check. It's been doing it for about three years. When it first done it, it was occasional. It seems like every six months it got worse. Now every time I reach the high speed of 65 it does it. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I could swear I remember a TSB about this exact issue for the 2005s.
Go here, and do a search under Service Bulletins for your year, if there is one, it should show up.
