1986 22R pickup...vacuum problems...stuck

Hello all,

Well my dad got this 86 pickup with the 22R, but I'm starting to believe it's got a different year motor (not sure...I'm a honda guy myself). Anyway...I've looked at the 85 and 86 diagrams and see that this truck has no ASV and an extra VSV with a little cylindrical plastic part on it, plus it's mounted sideways as opposed to the other one matching the diagram. I'm so lost as to how to correctly hook up the vacuum lines. The truck isn't idling right so I need to square this issue away first. Also, where does the vacuum line go from the "idle up diaphragm" (the one just below the automatic choke). Pictures of a correct setup would be ideal. Feel free to correct me if I made any mistakes in my description, as I'm still learning about these 22R's.

Thanks

I already have the 85 manual and checked vacuum diagrams for 84-88 models. The problem is I don't know where the motor came from since it seems to be missing parts according to the diagrams. So I'm not sure if the missing parts are allowed to be missing or if I need to source them, and the vacuum diagrams don't show where all the lines connect on this carb...since apparently, this carb doesn't match the diagrams.

edit: Also, the vacuum diagram on the hood is completely worn off.

Here are the exact issues:

-no ASV...is this ok and what do I do with the lines that were supposed to connect to it?

-2 VSV's...what do I do with the second one (it has 2 plastic nipples and one metal nipple covered by a cylindrical plastic valve thingy)?

-where does the line from the Idle-up diaphragm connect (I can't see it in the manual)?

-no VTV...is this ok?

-Theres a metal vacuum line bolted to the carb that curves around the outer vent control valve...what connects to it because it's not shown in the manual?

I've searched here and used the manuals, but this is still puzzling.
