22re swap in 79 to 83 pickup theory with the body lifts
Hi yota tech id like to help with something for all you guy swapping in 22re in the 79 to 83 trucks. You dont need a body lift to make anything fit. You only need to go to your local parts store get your self an intake adapter for the maf and build the mount for it to sit on. You then get the filter from the same parts store and put it all together. Out of the issure you run into doing the swap the only clearance issure you get into is that. Unless you have a 4 speed and your doing a 5 speed swap. Then you may have to get you hittin device to get the bellhousing in. I will snap some pics tomorrow afternoon for you guys. Thank you and please do not try blowing the thread out of proportion im trying to help everyone who doesnt agree with body lifts or dont want to waste money on one. Thanks again everyone

Found out today the auto 3.0 dash harness will not work out with out cutting some plugs. So this coming weekend i will be going to the wreckers to get a 5 speed 4runner dash harness along with the core support to the fire wall to fix the front end damage on it. I might do the 93 front end swap also getting the new lights and grill not sure yet but we will see
