We be back, more to come...

We will be doing some more revamping, but it should not involve shutting down the forum.
Most can be done with people on line.

Also the Maintenance section is now closed, and Staff will be moving threads out of there to the appropriate sections.

Other forums will be having threads moved around too.
We hope you like the new look, we have had feedback for a vehicle breakdown by years/gens ect, and we are giving it a shot

Thanks.
Mike (Cebby) came up with the leg work on the years/gens of the rigs, and some ideas for combining the other areas as well.

Still not done, some more to come and be moved later on.

We had a lot of input on this from staff and some of the members.

I am glad to see the catagory changes. That makes alot of sense.

Also I would like to say I have really enjoyed the forum since the recent cleanup (Bans). I know several individuals that stop coming to YT because of all the drama have started lurking and seem pleased with the direction you are taking this. This is by far one of the best forums for Toyotas and I hope you continue moving forward. This is my favorite place to advertise our Toyota parts and ARB/OME. If tis is in the wrong area please feel free to move/delete. I just want you to know how I feel.

i hate to ask more of you, but since mentioned you'd be moving threads around, i think it'd be nice to move or copy all the FAQ threads into the newbie section.

other than that, i'm really liking it. hats off to the EVERYONE !

please dont just thank the mods. dont forget corey and chris, the founders/admins without their guidance and flexibility to listen to all of our requests, these changes wouldve never happened.

I have 11 days off for Xmas vactaion, and more will be happening then too.

About done for the day here, I have been on here since 5:30 am and need to relax and do some PC gaming, and other weekend entertainment

Like the changes so far!!!!

I mentioned to a couple people that it might be a good idea to break down the trip planning section into geographic areas to help spread the word... people could subscribe to the forum of thier local area and keep in better touch.... although since that message, people have been creating yahoo groups for the locals which is a great idea....

Seriously though, all you guys have done an awesome job! I know it must have been tons of work to go through all this revamping. It really turned out nice. Really makes it easier to sort through everything. Big thanks to all of you, especially Corey and Chris for getting the whole thing going.

One downside though: Now that everything is broken down into generations, I really notice how many posts there are about bad 3vzes in the 2nd gen section. Just makes me want a 3rd gen more! More mod posts in the 3rd gen section instead of all the fix posts for 2nd gens.

Great job all!

awsome job guys. just a few thoughts - what is the purpose behing the newbie section - I think it would be easier to let them post with where the topic belongs - ie - 92 truck. this way they will get better answers as I know some people never look in the newbie section. How long does someone need to post in the newbie section before they are allowed to post in the truck section? removing this might help eliminate some of the divisions that have been created. Just a thought and I am sure there is good reasoning. Just trying to add my .02 to a great sight to begin with. Since the last cleanup of members this has been an informative sight moreso and not a drama sight. Now I know what the older members were aying about the sight difference. anyway enough blah blah from me - keep up the great job

We are shooting for two years

A few other forums have setup newbie areas.
This is an area where they can post ?'s without having to search, and it is required that members do not tell them to search either.

Thanks for the comps.
Less drama?
It does seem like the drama has been toned down a lot.
We had a lot of complaints on that very subject, and it was driving away quite a few.
