Site Survey

How's the site?
Yes, we know about the server problems of it going down and coming back up again.
These issues are being addressed, and you can address them too in the survey.

Take a moment to share your opinion in the survey, it should take less than five minutes.
Some of the questions that are in it are:

What's more important: Socializing or Technical Help?

How much do you spend on parts?

Want to see more Vendor Discounts, Giveaways? (Who does not )

Your answers make the difference.
Survey is back again, it was taken down due to the server issues we had earlier.

Bummer, it worked earlier, I will try to get another URL.
I thought it was only doing that from a cookie on my PC.
I took the survey a few hours ago, and it worked fine.

Try the link above now.
It still redirects me to the thank you page, that may be my cookies doing that.
If it doe sit for you, then the site is broken and they will need to attend to it first.

You know you're able to PM any of the mods if there is something you would like changed/fixed that is bothering you.
If it's something simple we will all talk about it and make sure we all agree and then make it happen.

If it's a layout/structural/server issue - those are harder to address but we will always take any concern/question seriously and handle it accordingly.

Started it..but became more marketing directed. Hopefully you arent paying a company to come up with those q's, if of course you wanted site feedback.

I think those are generic ?s as I have seen them before on other surveys I have taken.

And they do know about the server issues going out the past few weeks, and are trying to stay on top of it.

It was funny, yesternight after it came back up it was its normal lightening self, and I emailed one of the tech guy's, then a minute later it was hanging again.

Must take a lot to track down.
It was not hardware related though, we are on some of the more expensive hardware out there.
It was network related.

And speaking of giveaways, I have one I am working on for November.
Not a huge one, but it will go into your interior, and can be used by any and all who have electronic equipment.

Model year only goes back to 1992? What gives?

I am suspicious, but I filled it out anyways. It started out ok, but the questions about how many cars to a plan on purchasing and how....and then how do i find accessories etc lead me to believe there is more to this than meets the eye. However, i doubt there will be any "fees" coming, since YT is now owned by a for-profit company that makes its money on advertising. I know YT would lose a LOT more members if it ever elected to charge a fee for knowledge.

I agree that fees won't be coming for knowledge. What may be coming however is more features for the "Supporting Members" without taking away from the expeience for casual users.

And ya not to sure why the years only go down to 92, didn't even come close to my 85

No no no... that was not at all meant to be negative.

I have no complaints at all - this is my primary place to get my Toyota fix.
I was just making a broad generalization cuz I occasionally see posts by those who seem to be less than 100% satisfied with the site. If I had any issues I would be sure to let someone know.

I love this place -

Just for clarification, I didn't see it as a negative comment at all.
I was just making sure you knew that we were available if there are any urgent issues we needed to deal with.

I'm glad you like this place - I happen to be a little partial to it myself.
