Weird Tundra Issues

Scratching my head on this one and I can sure use some input (also known as HELP!)...

I have a 2006 Tundra 4x4 with 135k miles.

Yesterday my truck's starter began to engage in the ON position, starting right up however. Also my headlights would not go out...I don't have daytime running lights and switch is off. The only way to make them go off is to unhook the battery. I did however hook battery back up one time and they were off. One tap on the relay and they came on. That points me to the headlight relay but some verification would be very helpful here.

Could these two issues be tied together some way? I might note that I had a new windshield installed yesterday and these symptoms began a couple of hours later. For the life of me I can't see how that ties in but stranger things have happened. Thanks for any and all input, greatly appreciated. I may bite the bullet and end up at the dealership today unless I can get some advice soon...

Went out this morning and hooked battery up...no issues...truck started when I turned the key to the START position rather than the ON position. Lights are off for now. I'm scratching my head. I'm gonna drive it on some of my rough county roads to see if symptoms return. If they do it would almost have to be loose connection somewhere??????
