swapping leaft springs from bottom of axle to on top?

so i was loookin at my truck while i had it parked up on this rock when i was bored messing around today. Well i realized i dont have much flex at all for this truck and was thinkin how much flex i could get out of and lift i could get out of swaping the leafs from under to on top the axle. I know they do that in samurais and in jeeps to get more lift so why not do it to mine???? just a thought any advice? it shouldnt cost much money to swap it either.

heres pics of my rear axle and me playing around

Then it'd be simpler to use a 4wd rear, seeing as the perches are already on top. Look to gain around 5" of lift... what would you do for the front?

the 4wd axles ar 6 lug, 2wd are 5 lug...
just cut off the old spring perches, and weld new ones on the top if you wanna do that.

Its a good way to get lift, and its called a spring over conversion.

You just need to figure out the front, as you'll get 4-5" of lift easy.

how is it simpler to get a 4x4 running gear? lol i was just wondering how hard is it? lol and would i have to buy any new parts. not sure what id do with the front. I might just swap the leafs on top in back and put the front part of the 3in body lift on it. it all depends on alot of things tho weither i do anything ot the truck cuz of money. lol
