Shackles
ok i recently bought a 85 toyota and it came with some pretty long shackles but they arent installed. i was thinking about installing them but wanted to hear some input on if they are even decent for getting a little bit of lift/sag out of my truck

Yeah just put 'em on and see what you think. Just take it easy at first to see if you notice much difference in handling. Shackles aren't hard to put on or take off, so you can always take them back off if you don't like it.

thats what i was thinking just put them on and see and if i dont like it take em off, cause it aint hard, but i want to keep them angled like this --->/ right
and illl get some before and after too, also what about putting them on the front

got any pics of the whole truck with the shackles?
speedracer356: the chevies will give you quite a bit of lift about 4 or 5 inches, usually but it really depends on your shackle setup.
what are you planning on using the truck for?
the good thing about the chevy spring swap is you can put your rear springs in the front and get about 4" or 5" of lift up there.. its a bang for yer buck thing
