Not running out of money just sense
I have a 1994 Toyota pickup 4X4 V6 that I use to go to off road and other places I won't take my el camino. I am having an issue were as soon as you start the motor the RPM is about 120-300, it does not change when the motor gets up to operating temperature. Also the check engine light came on and it said it was the EGR, so I replaced it and it did not go away and is still running poorly, to keep the vehicle from stalling when you are taking off or slowing down you have to keep the RPM up at all times or the motor will shut off (also RPM has trouble climbing when accelrating , I am not sure what else to check, this is what I have done so far, replaced fuel filter, replaced spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coil, EGR, removed and cleaned throttle body, check EVERY single vacuum line on the vehicle. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also did compression test, checked timing, checked lash on rocker arms, inspected lifters, and push rods, cleaned every electrical connection I could access. I take very good care of the truck, I run 112 leaded no ethanol, with 10-30 royal purple motor oil and 1 quart of Lucas heavy duty oil stabilize and a K&N filter. I just don't know what else to check, it's not like the truck was neglected.

First Welcome to Yotatech!!
What were the results of all the testing you did ??
Did this just happen all at once or degrade over time ??
Are you sure of what engine you have ?? I am not real sure just what your calling Push Rods and Lifters ??
Having Chevy Engine flashbacks ??
What did your spark plugs look like .
How did the testing of the EGR electrical side go VSV working like it should ??
I mean 71 blinks I could very easy lose count

Also, doesn't the speedometer actually say "UNLEADED FUEL ONLY" below the odometer so you look at it every time you look at the gauges?
And also x2 on this:
"Are you sure of what engine you have ?? I am not real sure just what your calling Push Rods and Lifters ??"
