NEWBIE...looking to mount Ford (hiss-boo)rims & center caps

Hey...does anyone have experience replacing the wheel studs from Toyota 5-lug with something else?? I got a great deal on a set of Ford Aluminum rims...but the only way to attach the center caps is via these "snap-over" clips on backside of caps...they cling to 3 of the 5 lug nuts. Trouble is my 12mm 1.5 pitch studs won't allow for the type of "bulge" lug nut needed.
I've been to numerous normal & specialty shops fo ra soultion....nobody has it.
The Ford pattern is 1/2 inch 20threads per inch.....seems like it should be simple enough.

I know 100 series LCs are 5 lug, but the rest should be 6 lug

Yes...most '95's and newer...also ALL 4WD (to my knowledge)
Mine however, is a dinky 22RE motored 2WD with 14" 5-lug rims as standard fair.
I'd love to move up to 15" wheels/tires or bigger, but I'm afraid of throwing speedo & other stuff off.....plus I'm a cheapie by nature

I've installed 1/2-20 studs (Dorman brand) on my '85. Front is relatively easy, rear would best be done by pressing the bearing off the axle and then press the old studs out and the new ones in.
