also depends on the condition of the motor. 116hp was from the factory.

is there a difference in hp in the 22r vs. 22re mine is the 22r and it feels like it prolly only has about 90 hp.

well to consider my engine just blew a head gasket... you should be ok.... with horse power as long as the truck gets you where you need to go...

I dont know how many hp mine makes, but im pretty sure i'd come up short in a drag race between my 22re 4runner and my wife pushing our 5hp self propelled lawnmower.

![]() Really 97hp. Got that spec from wikipedia. an 88 imo will do better on fuel than a newer 91 with the 22re. This is my own real world experience from owning those 2 trucks |
