how to adjust a holley fuel regulator

so heres another stupid ? i went to put my reg and gauge on yesterday got all together and i couldnt figure how to adjust the reg i know there preset to 2.7 but i want to adjust it for my truck. theres a place for an allen wrench on top that looked to be wat to adjust with but wouldnt budge. i would use my instructions but they got wet ... thanks guys

You have to loosen the locknut around it. And if I remember right, turn the allen screw counter clockwise to lower, clockwise to raise. If turning clockwise, be sure to loosen the locknut enough to allow the allen screw to thread itself in. When tightening the locknut back up, hold allen screw with wrench, otherwise it will change pressure some.

i do cause mine looked like crap when it was hooked up.... does it matter how much fuel line i use so i can mount it to the wheel well or fire wall

lol, mine's probably worse, trust me. Doesn't matter how much hose you use. But do yourself a favor and use EFI hoses and clamps. Keep the bends to minimal and watch for kinking and moving parts. Make sure you have a little slack as well to compensate for engine movement.

ok sounds good. didnt think wat hose i used matterd. is there a big difference of hose? and i just used hose clamps lol for the moment.

Just extra insurance. EFI hose clamps put even pressure around the fittings and EFI hose is reinforced with string fibers. Just overall stronger.

the crap i got from napa had string on the insid when i was cuttin it but really lets see a pic
