Coil Springs front and rear Pros/Cons for 86 pickup with SAS
What are the pros and cons of replacing your leaf springs front and rear on a solid axle pickup?
Know of any good links that show how someone did the conversion from start to finish?

its been done many times...ever hear of 3 or 4 links? You need to keep the geometry correct, which linking does...then provide spring support to your liking. search a bit and you will have reading for days.

Yep, lots of info out there. The 4Runners are set up in the rear already with coil springs and the newer Land Cruisers have coils in front and rear. Some people go with radius arms to set it up and some do links. Lots of vehicles came from the factory this way, only real con I can think of is that it is tons of fab work and trial and error to set it up right.

I read up on this thread, but the owner ended up selling his rig unfortunately.
