Brake pad install? (and more)
Okay, I'm new to the Toyota world/forums and I have a '93 4Runner with some issues. Biggest priority is brake pads. Rotors aren't pretty but since I'm on a budget I just want to put pads on for now. I'm wondering if I'll need anything special for this job.
Here's my deal: I have a '98 Cummins Ram that I've drag raced and worked on for years. I have most tools I need for that and a marginal amount of common sense (plus a nice gravel driveway to work in). Can I do this job or will I end up throwing wrenches?
Also, I've been involved in diesel clubs where we get together to help work on each other's trucks. Do you guys do this in any organized manner?
I'm not building an off-road rig (I apologize) but use my Foreigner as an alternate to my Pavement Princess (Ram). Not at the track, of course...
Thanks for any advice!
