Blocks for the rear?
Why would you not want to use blocks in a lift kit? I am looking to lift my t100 and find every kit says it uses rear blocks, but I keep reading everyone says to stay away b/c of axle wrap. What exactly is axle wrap anyways?
Sorry I am such a noob, but I wanna do this right so I'm not stuckon the trail someday with ruined rig.

just what it sounds liek...
as you accelerate (or break) the rotational force has to be offset by something. (like a tail rotor on a helicopter) this resulting force wants to push the pinnion up/down. If it gets sever enough you can snap U-joints. leads to U-joint missalignment... accessive wear.... vibs....
just overall bad things... you dont want it.
Small 2' long add-a-leafts arnt much better....

About 4", No one makes a anything else. 4" by superlift, procomp and trailmaster are it.
This is one of the last things I wanted to do though-but I wanted to find out the info now as it may change how everything goes:
Plan was to do nerf bars and new bumper/winch (if I can ever find a sheetmetal style tjm/arb), then more agressive tires and a rear locker. The lift was to complete it.
Basically, do like this guy did with his, but use a regular lift kit and not find chevy springs: http://home.4x4wire.com/erik/t100/susplift.htm

I got a set of Revtek 3in blocks on my '00 Taco and I really wish I would have just saved up more cash and gone with Skyjacker 2.5'' lifted springs instead. Oh well.

...or you can just save your money until you can do it right.
Why put your truck at risk just so you can get it lifted sooner? Especially since you know you're going to be putting it to use and not keeping it as a street queen.
