Anyone know the best spark plugs for 3.4l 4Runner

I've been looking around on the web for the best plug for my 97 4Runner Limited. Anybody know which plugs I should go with? I've seen ngk, denso, bosch, Brisk which should i go with? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Daddyape

I guess its ok for me to assume that no one has run or heard of BRISK spark plugs. Please somebody go to their site and tell me what you think.
THANKS everybody for your feed back.

go to advance auto parts and pick up some NGK BKR5EKB-11, stock #3967. they should be $3.49. or u can get the DENSO K16TR11, stock #3194 at the dealer for about the same. use anti-sieze!

you can also get the OEM ones from northridge for 25% off, no shipping. Not a bad deal...

It looks as if I'm going to have to try the BRISK plugs myself. I'll report on then later this year. Thanks for the advise about the NGK's I'll try them next.

Yup, I get them from the dealership, and they were $32. They were the same ones I got from Kragen for $20. (Denso).

Ya' know... if you're gonna be stubborn about all these folks saying "only run OEM!" then the least you could do is give a link to the Brisk site.

For other folks, he's looking here:and here(I assume you're not talking about the Czech site here: http://www.brisk.biz/)

So... my opinion on Brisk is that you're spending a BOATLOAD of cash on a plug $13/each) where the stock ones are just fine.

If you're looking for a hotter spark or something to change the spark "pattern" then move away from the plug itself and look at an MSD system or another piggyback igntion system. Like OTHER PEOPLE ARE SAYING our engines are pretty touchy on plugs.

It can also help to know which engine we're talking about, are there mods on it, what kind of driving you do, and WHERE you drive.

Your profile says Provo and that you have a 97 Limited. So, 3.4L... It is S/C'd? Do you drive in the mountains or flats? Do you tow? Do you race it at the strip on Sundays? Do you run 87 octane in it? Are you willing to pay for 91+? Are you changing brands of plugs because you're looking for more performance, mileage, or are you just bored with what you have?

Just inslalled oe ngk's (less than $30 at NAPA). The original was ngk and denso. I don't believe the dealership was going to chage me $140 to change the plugs for me.
That was on top of the $400+ they were going to charg for the 60K maintance.
