do i need a skid plate to protect my transfercase

never been off road here, but want to, so do i need protection. there is an engine plate on my 99 4 runner, so just stock.
and if so where to get it? in the phoenix area. runner boards next

you will be fine without a tcase skid doing easy stuff, but the tcase is pretty tuff. I have landed on mine a few times.

Get rid of the running boards, or if you dont have them dont get them. Get sliders

and search please

tire sizes

hey i have a 1989 runner i have a 4" body lift currently running 33"s just wanted to know if anyone knows if i could fit 35"s without a suspention lift just cause i need new tires now and i just don't have the cash for the sas kit right now i'm thinking that i might be able to if i run some 1.5" wheel spacers just wondering if anyone has any expert opion thanks
