94 v6 A/T light

My 94 yota's a/t temp light comes on after about an hour of driving @ 75mph. I think my cooler needs to be cleaned. What is the best way to clean the cooler? Should i pull it off? I just had my transmission filter changed about a month ago. Truck has 140k.

Pull the cooler off and flush it out with some carb cleaner and then blow it out with compressed air and put it back on.
