Hey bfett, i'm needing to make myself a bumper too. I've never seen someone do this but i bet you could make a cool bumper out of a premade hitch. That would give you the hitch mount already. It'd cool to be seen done. You'd have to cut the hitch mounts down to bring it closer to the body, but then could just run round or sqaure tubing as the rest. Just an idea.

When I was designing mine (all designed now I just need to fund it bty.)
Wabbit gave me a link to one of his threads. It was in the fab section if you want to search for it. Really clean and simple but utterly strong and just screams go ahead little car see how much closer you can get back there. |
