88 pick up battery light on
hello everyone, I'm new to the tech forms and signed up immediately cause of this problem I just started having, 1988 pick up, whenever I would start the truck (without runnin it) the only 2 lights that would come on are FASTEN SEATBELTS and BATTERY, in red, it would stay on if I stay in the same spot, but as soon as I start moving it shuts off. this really concerns me cause I don't want to go too far to find myself trying to start my truck, in a town 2 counties over with it not starting at all, if anyone could help me I'd be very grateful, thanks and have a blessed day!

Seems like your Alternator output or the whole system voltage is low at idle.
perhaps cleaning all the connections will help.Could be corroded.
could be they are still the original wires they get old and brittle from thermal cycling.
A Multimeter will help figure things out
